Prospect Status Reports

Overview

The Prospect Status reports show the daily status of active Prospects
Prospects are grouped by the number of days relative to the Due Date. Both reports have hyperlinked detail reports that are not visible in the Encyclopedia and can be accessed through hyperlinks only. To see the list of Prospects, click on the number of Prospects in the data area of the status report. The hyperlinked list is formatted as a Prospect Activity Report.
This report is dynamic. Prospects will move from left to right over time and will one day end up in the 15+ category. Since the report is workflow-driven -- but Prospects can have Coverages in different Coverage Groups and therefore be in different Activities at the same time -- the system finds the Coverage Group for the Prospect that is least advanced in the process (the current Activity has the lowest sequence number) and uses this Coverage to determine the Status.

Table of Contents

The report by Office and Rep has summary pages that can be viewed by clicking on an outline node in the Table of Contents. The report by Profit Center contains five pages only, one for each Profit Center.

Report Detail

Prospects received in the RRAC but not quoted or DTQ'd are all active Prospects that have never had a Quote Activity in the Activity History of the Coverage Group where the current Activity has the lowest sequence number. The first two rows on the report belong to the same category, as you can tell from looking at the total number on the right. The data in the data columns is different, though. The first row uses the Due Date; the second row uses the RFP-Received Date.
Rates released to the Rep but not proposed or declined because of uncompetitive rates are all active Prospects that do not have Coverages with a Quote. They were at least once in Quote but have never had a Follow-up on Quote Activity in the Activity History of the Coverage Group where the current Activity has the lowest sequence number.
Proposals released to the Distributor but not lost or sold are all active Prospects that have Coverages in the Coverage Group where the current Activity has the lowest sequence number and the Coverage Group has a Follow-up on Quote Activity in the Activity History. (Coverage Groups in this category are not those that register as lost or uncompetetive in the Coverage vs. Proposal report.)
Prospects are grouped by the number of days relative to either the Due Date, the RFP-Received Date, the date rates were released to the Rep, or the Effective Date. To see the list of Prospects represented by the number, click on the number.
A Prospect that goes back to Underwriting from Quote will appear in two categories. If it goes back to Underwriting from Follow-up on Quote or later, it will appear in three categories (until it gets requoted and then re-proposed).
