A Prospect is any number of Coverages in the same Product Line for a Case. The following Product Lines are currently defined in Sun Link:
- Life
- STD
- LTD
- Stop-Loss
The Coverages in a Product Line can be in different Coverage Groups and therefore in different Activities at any time. These coverages can also belong to different market segments.
Market Segment The market segment of a Prospect is derived from one of the Coverages, depending on the Product Line. For Life Prospects:
If there is Basic Employee Life Coverage, it determines the market segment of the Prospect. If there is Optional Employee Life and no Basic Employee Life, the market segment is derived from Optional Employee Life.For LTD (STD) Prospects:
The market segment is derived from the LTD (STD) Coverage.For Stop-Loss Prospects:
The market segment is derived from the Specific Stop-Loss Coverage.Number of Lives The number of lives for a Prospect is the sum of the number of lives for all Coverages. Premium The premium for a Prospect is the sum of all premiums for its Coverages. Due Date

These dates are derived from the Case.
Activity The current Activity of a Prospect is determined by the Coverage Group that is least advanced in the process (has the lowest activity history sequence number). Hot:
Rep Target,
RRAC TargetA Prospect is hot (Rep Target, RRAC Target), if any of its Coverages is hot (Rep target, RRAC target).
